The 2025 Shandong Province Rock Climbing Competition and the Shandong U-Series Youth Rock Climbing Championship came to an end

On August 29th, the "2025 Shandong Province Rock Climbing Competition and Shandong U-Series Youth Rock Climbing Championship", hosted by Shandong Provincial Sports Center, organized by the Municipal Sports Bureau, and co-organized by the Municipal Rock Climbing Club and ROPENET Group, came to a successful conclusion at the ROPENET Rock Climbing Club in the municipal stadium. As a high-level rock climbing event within Shandong Province, this competition has set up four events: speed, difficulty, boulder and biathlon. It is divided into five competition groups for men and women: Group A, U14, U12, U10 and U8. Nearly 200 athletes from 15 cities across the province engaged in a thrilling competition of speed and skill on the rock face during the two-day event.

We should widely carry out mass fitness activities and strengthen youth sports work. In recent years, it has successively hosted the National Rock Climbing Station Competition, the National Games Rock Climbing Qualifying Competition and the National Rock Climbing Championships, as well as many other national and provincial rock climbing events, and has become an important base for domestic rock climbing competitions.
